English City Stone - the history

Our company has been established for over 20 years. We began life as landscapers specialising in stonework, but encompassing all areas of hard and soft landscaping.

During the late 1990's we opened a retail stone merchants in Clapham. Following this we began working in our current specialised area, using our established relationships with various quarries to ensure that we offer our customers the highest quality materials at the best prices.

Highly specialised

The reinstatement of Victorian and Georgian style steps is highly involved and requires an acute knowledge of the materials and the structural implications of removing an existing set of steps.

In order to provide you with the best possible service we use only our own employees and do not subcontract stonework to any other companies. Our staff are friendly and knowledgeable and we pride ourselves on the quality of our craftsmanship.
